Shrimp cocktail
I know to some this may be a simple question but I've never made my own shrimp cocktail before. I want to get uncooked shrimp, peel, devein and boil. How long do I boil the shrimp for? TIA
ETA: ok so I just read a thread and it says boil until pink but how long will that be?

it should be no more than 4-5 minutes (even thats probably high).
They cook up real quick.

it probably will only take about 2-3 minutes. you will notice they turn from grey to pink very quickly. I also would butterfly the back of the shrimp where you clean them so they open up more
