Siatica?!?!?
I am going to be 5 months along on Friday, the past 3 days have been so painful. Apparently, and I am assuming, I have siatica or the baby is sitting on a nerve. When I walk my left leg can literally give out on me the pain is so bad. It almost feels like a electrical volt runs through my lower left back. I am now limping and walking so slowley from the pain. With DD I had siatica not as bad but it was at the end...is this common in multiples? Should I call the dr.?? Is there even anything they can do for it??

Re: Siatica?!?!?
I have the same thing. It is so painful!!!! My leg has given out a few times and there have been times I just doubled over in pain. I don't think there is much that actually can be done. DH rubs my lower back at night and that helps a lot....also a heating pad for a little while relieves it for a while too.....but those are just temporary fixes. I'm 32 weeks now and it's rough. I just keep thinking 6 more weeks and hopefully this pain will go away. I am so looking forward to feeling like myself again.

Re: Siatica?!?!?
I'm having the same problem!!! I'm currently 18 weeks pregnant and I had so much trouble walking around at work. It was so painful. I actually went to the nurse's office to rest for a bit. She said one of the babies was probably resting on my sciatic nerve.

I think that's what it had to be, today and yesterday it was much better so maybe they shifted! Hope it stays that way!!!
