sick - please help me word this

I don't understand why, but my job has different sick day policies and the girl who sits next to me doesn't get paid for any sick days. As a result, she came into work last week with bronchitis and a fever. Now I'm getting a cough. I would like to say something to the guy who heads up the office about this, but I don't know how to word it. since our headquarters are in london, i would think that perhaps she could work from home when she's sick and maybe he can give her approval for that? i just don't think its fair that she comes in and then gets other people sick. that doesn't make for a productive work environment. would you say something to the head guy? how would you word it? i've already said something to her (the sick girl) but she refuses to leave.

Different sick day policies? That's odd. That's what sick time is for. Everyone is human and gets sick and needs time off. I am very wary of companies who don't provide their employees enough time off...

I would approach it sort of like that you are just looking to clarify the sick policy and how it applies to you? It's really not fair for someone to be hacking all over you and then you get sick...

is she an hourly employee vs salaried? I would definitely say something to your HR person on site. She's risking the health of the rest of you.
