I have had it for 5 days now. Stay in bed. This is a nasty bug so you need to fight it hard. Advil Cold and Sinus worked the best for me. Feel better

Had that from Thanksgiving night on..actually sinus infection that turned into that It was awful

I was actually just going to post the same thing....I've had it bad since yesterday and today I'm feeling no better....same symptoms as you. Must be a teacher thing because I think as a teacher I must've caught this yucky bug from one of the kiddies. Ughhh....feel better. Just think, atleast it's before Xmas...but it's no fun now. I know for myself, I have so much shopping to do and I'm stuck home in bed....it's the pits. Any ways, feel better

And I am a substitute teacher. I actually left early on Friday because right before lunch I completely lost my voice. Now how do you teach 2nd grade with no voice?

this stinks!!!

but like a PP said, stay in bed--I have been fighting this and it's really knocked me on my butt this weekend--

oh god - soooo me last week and it is still lingering.

make sure you gargle salt water twice a day - when you wake up and before you go to bed... also, make sure the water is warm.

run a vaporizer at night- that really helps. nyquil is the best to help you sleep and dayquil got me through the days. coldeez is great to coat/sooth your throat.

and the congestion of the nose- get the vicks vapor inhaler - it is vicks but instead of having that greasy stuff all over your nose you stick it up your nose and breath in and it is AMAZING - instant relief! without the mess!

the salt water kills the bacteria and gives relief - everything else helps to make you feel comfortable. hope you feel better!

btw- if it is not better within two days go to your doctor - you may need antibiotics to get over it.

For the past two weeks I had problems with my sinuses, my SO caught a nasty cold last weekend for some reason I threw up last tuesday then friday I'm finally starting to feel better then I started feeling a cold coming on and guess what I have SO's cold I was in bed all day yesterday, today I'm moving around, and will venture out to SO's moms for dinner.
