Sick baby - no sleep!
DD is just getting over a cold/fever - she had it over the long weekend and now just has a slightly congested nose and little cough - MUCH better than before. She really doesn't seem sick anymore, just has to kick this last little stuffy nose bit. However BEFORE she was sick, she was doing so well with sleep - was only getting up once about midnight-1am for a feeding. She will be 4 mos next week and b-fed.
NOW she is up all the time, and I am getting no sleep. We have the cool vaporizer on, and I keep putting saline drops in her nose - I hear the stuffiness I just can't get it out. I've tried not swaddling her, or swaddling her.
Is this typical? Will her sleeping go back to what is was once she is finally better? Should I use a warm vaporizer instead of a cool one? I'm figuring she wakes up all the time because she is uncomfortable, and I feel like I just can't get it right..
Sorry, I just want to feel there is a light at the end of the tunnel! I feel so bad for the little peanut, but I'm also a zombie at work. Thanks for listening!

Re: Sick baby - no sleep!
It is typical, and I wish I had some advice for you. Sickness disrupts everything, and it "should" go back to normal once they're better...however we've had to let DS cry a little after being sick because he was used to getting our attention during the night. It is so hard to start over every time, I hope your little one gets better and stays well!
