side sleeping question
i am a side sleeper. nothing feels more "nest" like that curling up in a bit of a fetal position and dozing off.
but...
i'm noticing that at 48 (yesterday was my birthday - yay), my shoulders hurt... especially in the morning.
what can i do to help this situation???
* are there fancy side-sleeping pillows you recommend? * are there exercises to do in the morning? * are there ways to teach yourself to sleep on your back?
i can't believe i'm old enough to have SLEEP hurt me lol

Re: side sleeping question
I can only sleep on my side. I was having problems with shoulder pain and also really bad rib pain under my arms & I knew it was from sleeping. I got a really firm pillow that’s not so flat & gives better support and also flipped my mattress. Those 2 things helped & I’ve felt good since.

side sleeping question
I can't sleep without my body pillow. I half sleep on the bed and half on the pillow when I'm on my side. I got mine from Bath & Body Works bc they have the coupon (although it's not that expensive).

Can you recommend a brand pillow? I notice I can't use soft. The firmer the better.
Thanks

Get a good pillow. That will help alot. Also, sleep on your left side as it's better for your heart and circulation.

Yep, story of my life also. However, I got a frozen shoulder because of it and have been forced to learn to sleep on my back since the pain is just too intense to sleep on it anymore. Good luck! Happy birthday!

side sleeping question
I’m a side sleeper and i feel like Goldilocks going thru pillows, too hard, too soft, too hot, too mushy, etc. I heard about Coop pillows for side sleepers and got one, and it really has been the best. I can add fluff and take fluff out...And, this is the longest i have ever used a pillow in my life.
