side snap onesie
I am having my baby in 2 1/2 weeks . Does it matter if I have longed sleeved side snaps or short sleeves? We obviously will not be leaving the house for a while.

Re: side snap onesie
We used the short sleeves for under outfits and the long sleeves for night time when we swaddled him (that's how they had him in the hospital).

Re: side snap onesie
I just have another question regarding these undershirts: I am hearing that they are supposed to be used in the beginning because of the umbilical cord, but don't they also come down and cover the umbilical cord area? Or are they shorter than I am imagining them to be? I am imagining that they are about the same length as regular undershirts that boys and girls wear after outgrowng onesies. Also, my baby will be born in late April/early May. Does the baby need an undershirt in addition to clothes at that time of year?

Re: side snap onesie
They don't rub the umbilical cord area the way a onesie that is snapped under the diaper would.
