Significance of lighter line on OPK?
So the instructions say that if the test line is lighter than the control line then the test is negative. But does that give an indication that your levels are rising and you will get a positive result soon, or does it really mean nothing?

i've found that when i used the OPKs that when the test line was there and just a little lighter--that within the next couple of days i got a positive darker result.
hopefully you're surge is coming!

Usually yes it does mean that your levels are going up... so keep an eye on it!

I'm glad you posted this...i got a lighter line yesterday morning but when i tested this morning the line disappeared!!!! what does that mean? did this happen to you?  
does it still mean that a darker line will show up???

i'm not sure. i just wanted to share that i got the light line one day, a darker light line the next, then nothing. i never got a darker line. this month, i'm going to give the temping a shot.

that happened to me. it turns out that because i was using FMU i was not detecting my surge. you really should test in the afternoon to get the most accurate results, unless you are using the CBEFM.

We always have "some" LH in our system....always.
It gets greater as O arrives.....so most people experience a "fade in" on the OPK's....if you see a lighter line, O is likely going to happen soon. Good luck!

My lines fluctuated quite a bit and even disappeared at times before I got a positive reading (and I did not use FMU) and I remember I found other posters who said the same - I wouldn't worry about it.
