Silent Reflux
Can anyone describe the symptoms of this? I think DS may have this. He starts to scream every time we try to burp him. What did the doctor recommend?

My sister's daughter was just diagnosed with this at 4 months old. She eats a LOT apparently to activate her saliva to sooth the burning feeling. ALso she chokes really bad -- to the point where she has a hard time breathing.
Dr prescribed pepcid and she started just yesterday on it.

Sara screams and cries whenever we try to burp her too. I asked the doctor and he said it is because we took her bottle away. I really think its true because now whenever we bbbburp her she stares at her bottle hoping nobody wil take it away  . I hate seeing her cry but once the bottle is back in her mouth she is fine
