Thanks girls!
Am I allowed to put the rings on after the surgery or not at all in the hospital? I know its silly but I'm delivering on my anniversary and I'm kind of sad.

Not sure about the recovery area. You might not be able to until they remove the IV.

Are you kidding...I got a blow-out and did my makeup right before my scheduled c-section!!  If you're not going to feel good, might as well look good!
I also wore my contacts and all my jewelry--necklace, earrings, wedding band and engagement ring...

I delivered at Winthrop and they asked me if I was wearing contact and jewerly.
I was wearing make-up.

Yes you can wear makeup if you feel up to it. No they wanted me to take off my jewelry - it is a good idea anyway.

it totally depends on the hospital. i wore makeup and no one said a word. i had to take out my belly button ring but i was able to leave all of my other jewelry on (earrings and necklace i think)

Make up yes, jewelry no.
You may not be able to wear them after you deliver due to the IV fluids. You may get swollen.

I delivered at Winthrop and wore my contacts... had my makeup on from the day (I wasn't scheduled). Had to take all my jewelry off.
ETS:
Once you are in your room I suppose you could put your jewelry back on... but you may swell (I did terribly!) so it might not be the best idea!
