Silly Q re: Freezer Milk Storage Bags...bottles
I've been freezing my milk the last few weeks for when I go back to work, etc. I've been using the Gerber Seal N Go bags.
Now my q is this....can I use those same bags in my Playtex drop in bottles?
Next Q: how do you defrost the frozen milk?
Last Q: What is the easiest way to go from freezer milk to bottle? (what bags to use? what bottles? )
Thanks so much.

To thaw milk
Thaw slowly in the refrigerator (this takes about 12 hours – try putting it in the fridge the night before you need it). Avoid letting milk sit out at room temperature to thaw. For quicker thawing, hold container under running water - start cool and gradually increase temperature.
you will find a lot of answers here linky

Re: Silly Q re: Freezer Milk Storage Bags...bottles
I do a quick thaw of frozen milk as needed. If DD needs a bottle and there's no milk in the frig, I fill a chinese soup container with hot water from the tap, take the package of frozen milk and place it in the container with the water. It takes...maybe 4 minutes to thaw it, pour it into a bottle and it's warm and ready to go. I do not save any of that milk for future use though. Whatever DD doesn't have at that feeding gets discarded (since it's been heated).
I use First Years freezer bags. They are great and cheap. I've never used any other bottle than Dr. brown's so I can't give any advice on bottle usage.

I would keep milk frozen until I needed it and then just sit it in a cup of hot tap water (not boiling water!) and let it defrost that way. I used Dr. Brown's bottles, so I just poured it into the bottle from there. I don't think the GErber bags can be used as a bottle.

Re: Silly Q re: Freezer Milk Storage Bags...bottles
I used warm water to defrost the frozen milk. When I went back to work in May, most of my bags had only 3-4 oz in them. So I'd defrost a few, pour the milk into a big rubbermaid bottle and add some formula. Then DH poured the bottles from there.

Like the other posters said, you can defrost in warm water or leave in the fridge to thaw.
The drop-ins have a special liners so I am not sure how you could use the freezing bags directly in the bottle.
