Silly question about feeding
Lets say your dc eats every 3 hours and goes to bed at 8pm.
If she had eaten at 6 or even 6:30 would you try to feed her again before bed? try to keep her up a little later and feed her at like 9pm or just let her go to sleep at 8 and if she wakes up to eat during the night, so be it?

Re: Silly question about feeding
I try to keep feedings at 3 hours, so I'd keep her up a little later. But at this age, she doesn't really have a "bedtime"....she sleeps all through the day!

Re: Silly question about feeding
This is what we did. It may not have been the right way, but it worked for us. We would begin DD's schedule starting from the time she woke up. Say she got up at 8, we would feed her every 3 hours until she had all 5 bottles then put her to bed. The latest she ever went to bed was 9 possibly 9:30. She had no set bedtime until almost 6 months. Now that she is on 3 solid meals I feed her every 4 hours and bedtime is at 8 regardless of the time she gets up.

Re: Silly question about feeding
I usually try to have a 5:30 and then an 8:30
If the 5:30 turns into a 6:30, then I would end it there---I tried both ways and found it doesnt affect when he wakes up

Re: Silly question about feeding
I have been feeding DD every 3-4 hours. If you give your baby a bottle at 6:30 and thats it for the night when does your child wake up for another feeding?
Emma sometimes is awake at 8 or 9 and then she will usually wake up at around 3 for a bottle.
