Silly question about fruit & cereal (babies)
Ok, I'm an idiot. Our Ped said being DS size & neck control (he's almost sitting up already unassisted) that we could start fruit in a couple of weeks. YIPPY, less formula!!
My question, do you put the two together in same bowl and mix up or do you feed a spoonful from one and a spoonful from another.

At first we gave it to DD straight, so she got used to the taste.
Then as she ate more and more, we mixes it together.

When I started fruit, I mixed the two together. Your DC still needs the same amount of formula though.

I usually have cereal on one side of bowl and the fruit on the other side. (DS only eats the cereal hidden ~ so I have to put the fruit in the front of the spoon and cereal in the back of the spoon)

no actually, my PED said we should be giving him less Formula. This is a kid who would eat 49ozs before we introduced cereal, now he eats about 36-40. Doctor said he should have about 32.
