silly question but wanted to ask girls
ok so this might be a silly ? but here goes..
ya know how most pregnancy text say 5 days early, if i took one on the 6 day early and it said no, do u think that iit s pretty accurate. or is there really a chance the next day it could say yes.. i mean would one day really pick up a different result..

every ay increases accuracy, but waiting until you miss your period assures the greatest accuracy
i have definitely seen people on these boards get a BFP after a BFN the same cycle

inside your box of tests there should be a pamphlet looking thing that tells you exactly HOW accurate they are. I don't have any in the house right now, but I know that most of them are pretty much only 99% accurate the day OF your missed period. It decreases each day though. So 1 day before AF is something like 90% accurate, 2 days before is 85%, 3 days before is 75%, and so on. So yes, if you take the test 6 days before AF is due, it'll be very inaccurate. ALTHOUGH i will admit that in the past I did take a very sensitive HPT 6 days before my period was due and still got a BFP. The digital tests, however, didn't confirm the positive until about 3 or 4 days later. So it is possible, but unlikely.

It was the Equate Walmart Brand. I immediately saw a light blue line on it (didn't even need to hold it under the light. lol). And the line continued to get darker each day closer i got to AF's due date.
