I would think that she didn't have a picture of the three of them. I would wait a little bit & then replace the photo with one with the 3 of them.

Ok, if it was me, I would think it was odd because if it were my mom, she would have given you the framed picture, but then gotten a separate picture framed of just Luciano or another pic with all three of them to balance it out. And that's what I would have done, as well.

ETA: She obviously was coming from a good place, and I wouldn't NOT display it, just put a pic of baby brother right next to it

If I liked it, I would definately display it. I was the youngest of four and I am not in every picture that has been displayed in my parents house. There has been lots of pictures floating around of one two or three of us without the others, but everyone was represented somewhere. Unless it is your only picture displayed... You will have plenty of pictures with your younger one I'm sure. If it hadn't come on Mother's Day would it have been a big deal that it was only of two or one of your children?
