Similac cheapest place to buy and price
I'm going to start giving DS formula since my BM supply is decreasing and I want to eliminate 2 pumping sessions. Ped recommends using Similac Advance Shield.
Where is the cheapest place to buy it and for how much before coupons? I'm looking to start using the powder first. Would you recommend I purchase the 16 oz can or buy the 23.2 or more just in case DS can't handle this brand? TIA.

Re: Similac cheapest place to buy and price
DS did not do well with the Similac Advance. We had to switch to Similac Sensitive RS. I would recommend buying a bottle of RTF and see how your DS does first. I buy at Target for i think $5.80 a quart. I started with formula too and had to throw out nearly half a container. If DS does fine, I have found the best price for the big big container of powder is at Sams but it is also inexpensive at Costco as well. You can go to their websites for the price. I have forgotten since neither selll Sensitive RS

Re: Similac cheapest place to buy and price
DD has been on Similac Advance since birth (she is 8 months now).
We do RTF tho. and find it the cheapest at BRU.
I think 5.49.
Pathmark had it on sale this week 2 for $11.

Re: Similac cheapest place to buy and price
We buy the RTF bottles of the Early Shield - case of 8 at Costco for $39.99 ($5/bottle).
Shop Rite often has them on sale 6 for $29.99 ($5/bottle).
I *think* Target & BRU are usually $5.89 bottle but on sale often for $5.49.
ETA: Ask you ped (or OB/GYN - that's where I got mine originally) for a sample since they are recommending it!!!

Re: Similac cheapest place to buy and price
I just switched to the Similac Sensitive powder and it's $24 for the big size at BJ's (think it's like 32 oz or something). The Advance Shield was about a dollar less...for the powder.

Thank so much. I have to get the formula this week. My freezer stash is almost down to 0.
