Similac Sensitive Concentrate (mix equal parts water) Vs. Sim Sensitive Ready to Feed
Any difference? I have the concentrate now and she drinks 4 oz: i mix 2 oz water with 2 oz liquid. Hoping that even the water will help her gas/grunting...any difference btwn this and the ready to pour? ingredients seem the same.

I don't believe there's any difference. I've used both interchangably with no problems

Thanks! Meanwhile my pedi office seems to be an "enfamil" office and I was supposed to call her before switching. We were on track to try gentle ease but since she hated it and was screaming her head off and refusing to eat at 3 am, we acted quick and bought this stuff....

I posted on your other post but just wanted to tell you at the end of the day your the Mom and you know what is best for your child. You did the right thing. Dr office are going to push certain formula because those are the drug reps they deal with. Also have you tried little tummies for gassy babies that worked awesome for us.

My DD still had gasiness on the powder. She drastically improved with the Sim sens RTF.

We did great with the RTF, the powder didn't agree with DS.
Our office gave us Gentlease samples too, but DS hated it. The nurse told me that the probiotic they added last year to their formulas can give some babies really bad gas pains.
So Similac Sensitive was our formula, until he was 8 mos and no longer gassy so I went to regular Similac.

Re: Similac Sensitive Concentrate (mix equal parts water) Vs. Sim Sensitive Ready to Feed
my ped's office was also an enfamil office(even though they had ton's of free samples of everything) They tried to switch my DD to everything enfamil and it just didn't work. We wound up with the Similac Sensitive and actually used the powdered and loved it. We used powdered, concentrate and liquid all interchangably. We used whatever we got for free from the ped's and whatever we had coupon for and the 2 liquid ones seemed to be the same. The powdered one was more bubbly and foamy)but 5 min in the fridge and it all went down also.
I asked my ped's office why they were more pro enfamil. The answer i got is because it has more DHA and ARA. But in the end, i ultimatly made the choice to continue with the Similac Sensitive since it had the best results with my baby.
