since LIFers can find ANYTHING online...
i've searched high and low and i can't find it.
not too long ago, i came across a picture of wall art and i can't find it ANYWHERE.
it's a large-ish frame with butterflies, like if it's a collection of "specimen", but near one corner the butterflies are out of order... they look like they're flying out of the frame. then there are butterflies on the wall OUTSIDE of the frame as though they've escaped.
i sure hope i described that well.
if anyone can help me locate an image of this, i would be sooooooo appreciative!

None of the images we're finding have the butterflies leaving the frame yet..... I'm still looking, though. I did find an Andy Warhol picture of butterflies, but it's a print, so they aren't off the frame...

these have been the same images i'm coming across.
 i can't, for the life of me, remember where i saw the initial image i'm trying to find again.
must say, all the images you've found have been very pretty.

It's a picture of a section of wall, right? Not just an individual framed piece of art? From your description, it sounds that way, since some of the butterflies are on top of the frame, and off the frame and on the wall.

yes. it's the way you would see a picture in a catalog... an "action" shot of how it will look on your wall.

Ok...I need more informaiton. Was the framed art a print? Or was it actual butterflies that were mounted? Were the butterflies that "escaped" pained on the wall or painted on the frame or were there actual butterflies on the frame?

I would think you could do something very similar with a butterfly print/poster (very easy to find almost anywhere), and some wall stickers to make your own "butterflies leaving" concept...
