Since the weather is going to be crappy w/ snow tomorrow- Saturday- what are you planning on cooking?
Me- Beef stew in the crockpot over egg noodles.

we had planned to make cabbage salads with italian heroes... but if we can fit in food shopping or not with the weather... that might change.
and probably making some sort of cake or cupcakes with frosting because im craving frosting!!

Chicken with Dumplings. The idea of a warm bowl of rich golden broth flecked with the vibrant orange and green of the vegetables seems so homey and cozy to me. And what is better to pair with it than a simple green salad with a zip of lemon & olive oil against homemade butter and garlic croutons? It's like a splash of summer nestled up with comfort food extraordinaire..
For dessert I am making the boys soft oatmeal chip cookies with homemade cocoa and some heart shaped marshmallows that I picked up today. Warm mugs of love for my babies.

Your food descriptions are incredible.  I'm craving chicken with dumplings and I haven't eaten meat/poultry in 20 years 
ETA: Not sure what I'll make tomorrow; maybe homemade pizza?

Braised beef short ribs with buttered egg noodles, roasted green beans and a salad.
homemade poundcake for dessert - chocolate swirl with dark chocolate glaze.

My mom had gotten a free turkey from the supermarket before Christmas and we never cooked it, so we're cooking that.
And then I'll prob make a turkey pot pie with the leftovers and we'll have that on Sunday.

Need to go grocery shopping! I didn't even think of doing a big cook-a-thon but now I'm inspired. Going to look at the sale flyers now....

Slow cooked beef stew w/ veggies and egg noodles.
Also making a banana bread and oatmeal chocolate chip cookies
I think I wanna try Avgolemono Soup. My friend tried a recipe a few days ago and said it came out great!
ETA
I also made a big breakfast this morning. Cheesey Eggs, Bacon, Home fries, English Muffins!

Saturday Gravy.... I had some chicken, sausage and pork chops. Its a good way to clean out the freezer.
Maybe DS and I will bake something later. We have cookies and cake.

Snow Cream! My grandmother and dad and aunts ALWAYS made that for us when we were little.
