Since they recalled the Bumbo does this mean they will recall Bebe Pods also?

After watching the news this morning and seeing that baby push himself out of it, it's obvious that you should not leave your child unattended while in it. And seriously..who would think to put them in it on on a table??? Is anyone else upset about this?

I wanted to get DD this seat, but now that it's been recalled, I'm wondering if they will recall the Bebe Pods also?

They are not really being recalled, but they are advising people who own them to call the 800-number and get the updated safety literature for the product.

Its not a traditional recall. They are not taking the units back (unless it has changed from yesterday morning's report....) They are just requesting that users of the product call their customer service number to get the newer updated literatureChat Icon

i saw that too.. its not a recall in the sense that the item is being pulled... they want you to call the hotline to get a new sticker and litature that states not to put on high places. i had called myself yesterday to make sure.... i love the bumbo.. i think the bebe pod is to hard.. its all plastic.. while thel bumbo is a nice comfy foam.Chat Icon

M- I didn't see on Channel 2 that they were being recalled- just the manufactor wanted to make the warning larger.

It does baffle me why someone would put an infant that might lunge so high up. ??? I felt bad for the little boy w/ the scar on his head

Really? I guess I liked the Bebe Pod more for the style of it because it looked smoother. I'll have to test them out again. Thanks!!!
