Since we're talking about men in the kitchen....
is mine the only one that makes a complete mess when he attempts to cook????
i came home once and he was attempting to make a smoothie...there was food on the ceiling because apparently he didnt tighten the lid on the blender!!!!!
he only knows how to make omelettes and french toast but when he makes these things it looks like a tornado went thru the kitchen!

YES, this is part why I dont want him in there, it just makes more work for myself. Also he sucks at it.

mine too! it usually takes me an hour to clean up after him! if he ever does offer to cook, i usually decline. i would much rather cook than clean up his mess.

Mine makes a mess too and if he cooks I usually clean
His meals taste great and he cooks a lot of the time so I dont mind when he makes everything a mess! LOL

mine is the total opposite. he abhors mess, so if and when he cooks, he cooks one thing at a time, and has everything in perfect order.
the only problem is it takes FOREVER. I could cook AND clean AND take a nap in the same amount of time it takes him to make a stack of pancakes!

Mine makes a disaster of the kitchen. He uses a million pots, the sink is usually overflowing and there is stuff everywhere. He is a good cook, but I just cannot take the mess therefore I rather just cook myself. Plus I enjoy it.

My DH is like a bull in a china shop. He is the only man I know that needs to use 5 pans to cook 3 things. If I don't clean as he cooks, I'd be spending the next 2 hours cleaning up after him

Yes. Every pot, dish and utensil is used. I clean as I make food, so there is less of a mess to deal with. He likes to save it all.

Mines makes a huge mess too. In the morning he will make pancakes and there is pancake mix everywhere. He will just leave everything there like he doesn't see it.
