sippy cup question
for those that are/transitoned your DC to the sippy cup, where does your DC drink it? DS has his first bottle at 7AM and then gets breakfast at 8:15, and right now i still have him on my lap for his bottles, so do i put him in the high chair at 7 for his sippy cup (i am looking to start the transition this weekend with formula) and then back in his highchair at 8:15 for his breakfast? I just feel like i dont want him to get into the habit of me having to hold him with the sippy cup too. He does hold it himself, but i find he doesn't really drink his formula from it unless hes on our laps. This transition is driving me crazy as i am not really sure how to go about it smoothly.

Re: sippy cup question
This is a good question! I'll be starting to transition soon too. So far, DS gets sippys in his high chair with meals, but I have't "replaced" any of his usual bottles with sippys yet. I would say DS should drink it in his high chair and not on your lap.
Good luck with the transition and let me know what you end up doing!

Re: sippy cup question
My girls have 2 kinds of sippy's-one with the straw for water and the nuby gripper sippy for milk(less parts to clean)
I let them have the straw cups all day long wherever they are-highchair, playing.
My oldest only gets milk twice a day (am and pm), so she drinks it on my living room floor or on the couch with us after dinner.
I'm just starting to transition my youngest out of bottles, she gets hers on the lvg room floor too. They drink then go about their business.
