Re: SIRM ladies.....

I went for two consults, each a year apart.

At my first consult, we just talked. I think for various reasons, he knew I wasn't likely to use him as my doctor. At my consult a year later, I told him flat out IM YOURS lol.. He did bloodwork and sono that day and the very next day I spoke on the phone with the lady from billing. The rest is history Chat Icon

Great to know.
Was it a long consult? Thorough?
I am not jumping back into IVF just yet so I don't want to do sono or bloodwork.

Both were thorough, and I wanna say like 45-60 mins? I guess the length of the consult depends on how much you have to talk about. It def lasted long enough for me to feel like all my questions were answered. Dr.T never made me feel rushed.. Ever. Even at sonos where I'd have questions about protocol, etc he was always super patient.

SIRM ladies.....

I had a consult where we just talked. Dr. T was very thorough but we were still unsure of what we 100% wanted to do so he didn't do sono or bloodwork.

Re: SIRM ladies.....

My consult with him was just talking. He had reviewed my records and told me what he would do. I then had to make an appointment with the billing manager and go over insurance and pricing info and believe from there I was assigned to a nurse. I think I called with my next period and we took it from there.

Re: SIRM ladies.....

So does he review the info you are supposed to send ahead of time? I'm so not used to that.
I'm bringing copies of my loss bloodwork and stim info but that's it.

Re: SIRM ladies.....

Yes he had read through all my records. He discussed what he would do for me. So when I called when I got my period the nurse had my protocol already and anything we discussed for my treatment plan and we went from there. You will like him. I think he is a great doctor.

SIRM ladies.....

I have my appointment with him in Feb. I'm glad to see all the good reviews about him. I don't know about you but my file with my RE is HUGE! I been going there for a solid year with 6 IUIs, 2IVFs, and 1 FET.

Ladies: I have to call and ask for copies of my records but will Dr. T want to see IUI records too? Did you send your records ahead of time? I would have like 50 pages to scan and email ahead of time. Or should I just send IVF/FET/testing info?

I hope it goes well tomorrow and he has a plan for you!

Yes send them ahead of time. They should've emailed u a file to fill out a bunch of papers as well.

Re: SIRM ladies.....

They only required the paperwork they sent via email.. Just download, fill them out and either email it back or mail to them one week prior to appointment.
The other records she said just bring along to the appointment for review but the questionnaire is very thorough asking about IUI and IVF history, meds, outcome..

SIRM ladies.....

Thanks. I just looked at the email again. I can't open the attachments because I don't have Word on this new computer but will have to use my DHs computer and check the forms out. Email says to send the forms 48 hours before your appointment. I can't even imagine how many pages my records will be from my RE. I guess I'll be copying tons of papers at Staples. Fun.

Good luck tomorrow!
