SIRM? Opinions/Experience?
Do you know if they take insurance? I am thinking of going for a consult. I have 2 frozens left (a 6 and 8 cell) and 1 fresh cycle covered under my insurance. I will probably look to "chnage things up" if I don't get any answers as to why I keep getting these bfns. I will do this last FET and then look to switch. Donna, I already read your post on Michelle's so thank you!! That makes me feel good.

I'm a patient at SIRM in Woodbury. They do take insurance.
FM me if you want more info or have specific questions.

Re: SIRM? Opinions/Experience?
I went to SIRM briefly and got a lot of answers to things. I ended up going with another clinic for IVF but followed treatments that SOIRM started me on(albeit through another Dr) If you have unexplained implantation failure or recurrent losses I think they are a great first step in NY. Be aware that some of the treatments are not covered by insurance.

Re: SIRM? Opinions/Experience?
Sorry Diana I did mean you Thanks for the info girls. I called this morning and they do take my ins. I set up an appointment for next Thursday with Dr. Braverman. I am going to do my next frozen cycle at LI-IVF but will probably be going some place else for my next fresh cycle (if needed)

I totally agree!!!! I went to SIRM in Dallas when I was living in Texas (drove 3 hours to get there) and I didn't do IVF b/c at the time I didn't have the coverage. But, they are very thorough and seem to think outside of the box then most clinics. They will likely have your blood drawn (RPL panel-Recurrent Pregnancy Loss) and see if you are auto-immune to certain diseases, blood clots disorder, etc. Even if you never had a pregnancy, they will still do the panel.
I loved the fact that they got back to me asap and I would always speak to the RE and not the nurse. I even had my RE's email address. They are very accessible.
I found out that I am auto-immune to Hashimotos disease (thyroid) which is quite common.
Good Luck!
