Sisal Rugs? Jute?
Any feedback on either? Looking to get one because I love the look...

Re: Sisal Rugs? Jute?
I can ask my dad. He was in the rug business for about 25 years. I have heard him talk about Sisal rugs but I can't remember what they are.

Re: Sisal Rugs? Jute?
I have a little one in front of the back door. I love the way it looks as well. I would get a bigger one, but my cat uses it as a scratcher so I opted not to. My cousin has one that is a runner. Also very nice. Would you get the ones with the trim? If so, what color?

Re: Sisal Rugs? Jute?
I had one in my old apt-- they are great because they are cheap, and they look nice-- but they are not soft at all. I would not get one if you had kids, or in a room where you will be barefoot a lot of the time. Some may be better than others-- but they are not soft on your feet.

Re: Sisal Rugs? Jute?
I have a Jute with cotton rug & runner in my Family Room. Love them. They are nice and soft because of the cotton & jute mix. We bought it at Lowe's. Otherwise Jute is rough on the feet and I think Sisal is too, unless mixed with cotton. HTH!
