Sit and Spin Zebra
So, DD got this for her birthday....DH put it together and it is sooo big for her. I don't see her feet touching the floor to be able to get on/off herself for quite sometime. So...should I have DH dis-assemble this and return it...or just store it away and take it back out in 6 months or so to see if she fits on it? I have heard such good things about it...but she is so tiny!
My friend came to her birthday party with her almost 5 month old...and he was bigger than Mollie

I would keep it, she will love it once her feet can touch the floor. It was Julia's favorite toy.

Re: Sit and Spin Zebra
LOL! I asked a very similar question after my DS received one for his birthday. He couldn't get on it and I was ambivalent about whether I wanted it sitting in my LR. But one day out of the blue there he was sitting on it - he got on by himself and has been galloping away ever since. He's so darn pleased with himself too when he's on it.

Re: Sit and Spin Zebra
I wanted DD to get the same thing for her first b-day. Maybe she won't fit on it though. She only weighs 18.5 lbs and is 11 months. Mollie is probably similar ( I think by looking at pics).

Re: Sit and Spin Zebra
My guess is that Mollie is 17-18 lbs...she goes for her 1 year checkup next week.
The box says its for 12-36 months.

Re: Sit and Spin Zebra
My 2 year olds still play with it and love it.
Once she gets a bit heavier and taller it will be fine. I am sure it won't even take 6 months. Joey wasvery small and after having it a few months he was able to use it.

Re: Sit and Spin Zebra
DD also got it for her first birthday- it sits in the corner of the living room. She loves spinning the front and dancing to the music & watching the lights though. Hopefully when she's taller she will be able to get on & off by herself. Not yet though.

Re: Sit and Spin Zebra
We have it (I think it's the same thing anyway) and Liam is 13 mos and can't reach the floor either from it. He likes to spin the muscial thing on the handle though We are keeping it, he will be able to use it in a few months I think. You should keep yours, she'll use it in the future I think.

Re: Sit and Spin Zebra
Ok...I will keep it. She did play with the musical thing on the handles today and seems to enjoy them. I told DH we should put it back in the box and give it to her again for Hannukah

Re: Sit and Spin Zebra
we have one too - b/c my fav animal is the zebra from when I was little so dd has had it for months...she is a peanut too (16 lbs roundabout and going to be 12 mos in 2 weeks!) - she can't touch the floor at all and is way to light for it, but is amaster at dismounting it....you would think this girl was a professioanl horseback rider....lol...she doesn't love riding it, but loves getting off it..she does however love to pull herself up on it and to spin the front light up thingy!
