Sitting up
at what age does this usually happen?
Ryan pulls himself into the sitting position all the time, then usually just topples to one side
We are retiring the bouncy chair, because yesterday morning he decided he wanted to sit up and lean fwd in it, Thank God I was right there because I feel like he would've flipped it over or on its side...
Im guessing that its gonna happen soon... but I also swore one of his teeth would be here by now, with the way he's been teething...
Ehh what do I know...these babies are so unpredictible!

Re: Sitting up
Talia is sitting up on her own for about 5-10 minutes - then she slowly falls over (of course I am there to catch her) I caught some pics of it today - I am So loving the "sit up" - it is going to make a lot of things easier.

Re: Sitting up
Bella is sooooooooooo lazy. When she wants to, she sits up just fine...but when she has had enough according to her, she'll just faceplant or throw herself back...
She would MUCH rather stand or hang in her exersaucer and jumper...

Re: Sitting up
Emily is getting very close to sitting up now. She can sit up with a slight "lean" for about a minute -- but tires and falls forward. I think it is going to be very soon though. We had to retire the bouncie also and the travel swing will be happening soon too.

Re: Sitting up
Jacob is 6 months and sitting on his own... At gym class today the owner couldn't believe how his posture was... ( she saw him starting this class at 3 months)
It is so cute and know I can put him in the pack n play and let him play with his toys by himself.

Re: Sitting up
My son started tripodding at about 5 1/2 months (sitting up with his hands between his feet) and now he sits pretty well unassisted, although he still topples over occasionally and it cracks me up. (he'll be 7 months next week)

Re: Sitting up
Miranda can sit up for a little bit but I have to put her in the sitting position. She can't pull up to sit on her own but she's trying.

I cant recall my son without dragging out his baby book but I do remember my daughter was doing it at 6 1/2 months.
