Six Feet Under's Lauren Ambrose Has a Boy
Six Feet Under star Lauren Ambrose and her husband, Sam Handel, welcomed their first child, son Orson Handel, on Tuesday in New York City.
"The family is very happy, the baby is happy and Lauren is doing great," a friend of the couple says.
Ambrose, 28, met Handel, a photographer, at a party in Los Angeles. They married in September 2001 in Massachusetts.
In 2003, Ambrose was nominated for an Emmy for her role as Claire Fisher, the hearse-driving little sister in HBO's Six Feet Under. Her new film, Starting Out in the Evening, premieres at the Sundance Film Festival.

I loved her and the show! So happy for her.
I really liked the show, but I think they ended it at the right time. So smart to go out while the show was still good.

I could never watch it again. It haunted me for weeks... I loved that song and downloaded it and it took me months to get the images of everyone dying out of my head.
