skateboard or ripstick?
For an 8 yr old boy who has never had either. I thought my DS might like one for Xmas even though he hasn't asked for either so I don't know which is better...
Any advice?

From what I heard a dipstick is better but harder to use. I think the boys in my neighborhood are riding skateboards.

They have a combo ripstick/scooter that looks interesting. I think its a ripstick with a scooter handle. It might make it a bit easier to learn. I'm thinking about one for Jack.
