we just attended a wedding at Jay Peak (in vermont). it was a bit of a drive but beautiful.
We went last month which is off season so it was nice - I think it may be more family oriented though during ski season (they are opening a water park shortly)...so i dont know how romantic it will be

We always stay in Mount Snow Vermont at the Grand Summit. The lodge is really nice, the rooms are big and clean, and they have an awesome outdoor heated pool--very romantic! The food in the lodge restaurant is actually DELISH!!! We have gone there two yrs in a row.

the emerson in the catskills. They have a lodge type section which is more casual as well as a more upscale section.

I stayed at the resort at Stowe Mountain. So pretty and romantic. A bit of a drive, but lovely!

we don't stay at a resort, but at a bed and breakfast up at windham. it's so romantic, i love it there. albergo allegria.
