Ski vacation NYE
Where is the best place to go skiing with kids for New Years in New England? We are looking for a fun family celebration and winter activities in addition to skiing.
Thanks fir any advice!

Ski vacation NYE
I would look into Okemo - its a very family friendly mountain (but I don't know anything about what they do for NYE).

best east family mountain is smugglers- lots of programs for kids - not sure specifically what they have for NYE - but they have tons of activities for kids - but it is a hike up there

If you want close and family friendly, look into Woodloch Pines. There is a good, small ski area about 10 minutes away.

This sounds like a great option but some of the reviews are not so hot. I'm going to look into this more. Thanks!

We've been seriously considering this. We used there to go all the time before we had kids and loved it, but I am not sure there is enough to do. Thanks tho!

Most of the mountains in Vt Have added activities for NYE. They will have fireworks and a torch light parade.
OTher than that its Skiing/snowboardign/tubing. And probably music.

Re: Ski vacation NYE
Thanks! SO far we have found nothing less than $800 per night not including ski lift tickets or anything. Maybe I am shooting too high because we really need something more affordable. And since my dog was bitten at cage-less boarding this weekend I am thinking of renting a house so I can bring both my dogs. Uggh
I started looking into New Hampshire, Stowe and Lake Placid.
