Sleep help desperately needed!

My lovely DD is in teething hell right now and having some sleep issues. Previously, I would nurse her to sleep, or my DH would rock her/sing to her and then put her in her crib. She is fighting sleep like h*ll right now even though she is exhausted. For the past week or so she basically won't go to sleep without a fight, which includes anywhere from 2-15 minutes of crying. I hate letting her cry, but I know she needs to sleep and if one of us goes to get her she wants to play, not sleep, no matter what we do.

I've tried a bedtime routine, but even this doesn't calm her. What can I do? Any help/advice is greatly appreciated.

Thank you and Happy Mother's Day!

Re: Sleep help desperately needed!

I would honestly let her CIO. She is 7 months right? That is an ok time and 2-15 min of crying is not that big of a deal at that age. I let DD cry for 20 min at that age, she would put herself to sleep, it worked wonders so she didn't have to be nursed to sleep!

Thank you Chat Icon

I'm just concerned that she'll be crying everytime she goes to bed, and I don't know if I could handle that Chat Icon I want to break her of the habit of nursing to sleep also, I'm just concerned she'll be crying every time I put her down.
