Sleep Number Bed?
Does anyone have one? DH keeps seeing the commercials and thinks we need to have one. I like the bed we have now, but he really doesn't. He thinks it's hurting his back. Anyway, before we drop a ton of $$ on one I would like some feedback!!!

Re: Sleep Number Bed?
We have the tempurpedic and are not loving it. We will probably be sending it back for another bed. (You get a 90 day trial). I def feel a lot less movement in the Tempurpedic, however for over $2500 the bed is extremely hot and a little too soft for our taste. Plus it takes time to get used to it.
We tried the sleep number in the store and didn't feel like it was worth the money either.

My guess would be that they are talking about the Sealy Posturpedic, which is suppose to be similar to the Tempurpedic. (Its the Sealy version)

my fh and i slept on one in the radisson. it was like sleeping on air and then the balloon deflated. very disappointing. tempurpedic molds to your body. i want that one.

Many years ago it was called the Royale but my mom said when they went for a new bed, they constantly change the name. My dh is almost double my weight and I NEVER felt him move when we slept in that bed.

Re: Sleep Number Bed?
We have a sleep number bed. Before we got married DH wanted the big screen tv, but I wanted this bed!! My parents have one and I loved it.
It's perfect for us because we like such different beds we would never be able to agree or be comfortable in one we couldn't adjust. My side is REALLY soft and his side is REALLY firm so it works for us.

Yes. we've been thinking about getting a new one as well because ours makes our backs hurt as well. Sometimes... it's really bad.

do they have any sort of free trial? money back guaranteed? If so... try it. Then you can let me know if it's worth it!

I'm not sure if you guys have Bob's out on Long Island yet (it's here in my town in NJ) but they have a "fake" temperpedic. It's called the "Bob"opedic. We were going to get the Temperpedic BEFORE we tried the Bobopedic --- and it was the same thing, plus its' got a great warranty.
Anyhoo - it was half the price and we are so in love with it. It's so comfortable, it molds to your body and I've never felt so good. My DH has back problems...well, no flareups since the day we moved in.
