Sleep question for 3 month old
Hello Everyone:
My daughter naps all day and sleeps pretty good at night. She is however 100% used to me putting her to sleep for naps and throughout night by holding her with pacifier and cuddling. I am entertaining the idea of "sleep training" I am not sure if I am ready. I am just curious for you experienced moms what is a good time to put her to bed? She is sleeping now it's 6 pm. She may wake up again and have bottle. She usually goes to sleep between 8:30 and 9pm and wakes up for the day at 6 am. It's hard for me to tell if this is nap or if she's down for the night. I know if I sleep train her she will prob eventually drop her 2 am feed. Another advantage to sleep training would be getting more done around the house. I spend hours holding her now, I don't mind but it's hard to cook and clean like this. LOL Any advice is appreciated.

Re: Sleep question for 3 month old
I sleeped trained ds at 3m, I followed baby sleep solution by Giordano. It reads like a manual and very much in line with the better known book Healthy Sleep Habits Happy Child.
The later reads like a text book, its great, but when your sleep deprived hard to process.
Any questions feel free to fm me, or ask here. Ds is a great sleeper and any additional sleep training I've had to do beyond 3m was so easy and painless.
eta: you are going to get a ton of opinions on this, this is just mine, but all babies are really different and their mommies know best what to do.

Re: Sleep question for 3 month old
I did read the book (Weisbluth) you mentioned skimmed it was more like it. DD is sleeping in crib now. She was pretty tired so went down without a fight. I appreciate the info. I think she needs more sleep training for the naps. That book really helped me to get her to nap. I recommend it to all first time mommies.
