Sleeping in the car seat....
I feel like a terrible Mommy for letting him sleep in the car seat. He has acid reflux and he likes the position of the seat. I am just worried about his back.
Please let me know that there are others out there that let there 6 week old sleep in the car seat.....

Anytime K falls asleep in her car seat I would leave her there.... it's actually a great position for acid reflux babies!!!!

My DS started sleeping in the car seat at 4 weeks- he is a reflux baby too!
He is almost 16 weeks and mostly STILL sleeps in his carseat . We just started transitiong to crib- first for naps, and now he sleeps overnight in his carseat inside the crib.
I told the ped about it, he said 80% of his patients with reflux sleep in their carseats because of the elevation. I got a wedge for the crib to put under the fitted sheet so that he will be elevated there too!

My dd did not have reflux and still slept in her carseat until about 4 months.

I think it is fine but BECAREFUL with flat head. I know a few people whose DC slept in the carseat and they had a hard time with flat head. So try not to use it all the time
