Sleeping with a blanket
So the kid has decided that he doesn't like his sleeping bag as he can't move around enough. Last night he was up for ages and only went back to sleep once I took the bag off.
So tonight we put him to bed in just his pajamas...but its cold! His feetsies will get cold! But we thought we would see what happened this way, I mean he will let us know if he is cold.
So how can I teach him to sleep with a blanket? He sleeps with his bumbum up in the air...
Can I teach him? What do you think?

Re: Sleeping with a blanket
Sorry I don't have any suggestions for you but I just wanted to say that my 1 year old nephew sleeps with his "bumbum" in the air too...LOL

Re: Sleeping with a blanket
Aidan didn't get into sleeping with a blanket (for warmth) until he was just over two.
Before that he kicked them off or bunched them up just to cuddle. Then one day he just started to request it since it was always on the bed.
Pre-blanket I just made sure he was wearing extra warm blanket sleepers (LLBean makes great ones) with an undershirt underneath. and if its really cold just keep the heat a little higher.

Re: Sleeping with a blanket
I put a onsie under DD's pajamas and a pair of socks on her "feetsies" even though her pjs have feet on cold nights. She seems to stay warm.

Re: Sleeping with a blanket
My son sleeps like that too and I just put a crocheted blanket over him.
