Sleeping with Stuffed Animals?

When do you allow your child to go to sleep with a blanket or stuffed animal. My boys love to cuddle with this certain one, but are only 7 months....i am a little worried still to put anything into the crib but them.

I just started at 10 months old. He likes to sleep with a bunny we got him with the bunny ears between his thumb and mouth

Mine have always had something in the crib with them, my DS usually walks around with his blankie when he is tired - its his security.
My DD has a blankie that has a bear head on it - its her "beary" - she always has that with her.
My DH insisted from the beginning that they have security items with them so I gave in and allowed it.

RYan has them in his crib since 6 months, he can pull up and move around enough that I don't worry about it.

Connor has had his "woobie" which is a bear head with a blanket body since 5-6 months.

Now all his "friends" have to go in with him. I go in and take them out after he is asleep.

I think Katherine had a stuffed animal in the crib since she went in it at 3 months. Now (19 months) she has a whole menagerie in there with her in addition to her books she insists on sleeping with!!
