Sleepless nights...

So, I was discussing with my doctor yesterday how I am so drained because DD is keeping me up so much at night, and he said to me that it would be perfectly ok for me to take something to help both me and her sleep the night through.

He suggested Benadryl, Unisom, even Tylenol PM.

So, I'm elated, right?!

I get home, spend the day doing things, get ready for bed (I know that I have Benadryl in the medicine cabinet), and go to take my Benadryl to find out that it's maximum strength cold & sinus headache. Now, I don't know if that's the OK one.... So, I resort to taking a Tylenol PM, and I'm frickin GIDDY with the thought of getting a good nights sleep....

Fast forward an hour... Brian is laying in bed next to me, and he falls asleep... To my surprise - he's snoring like a GD chainsaw on steroids!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had to leave the bedroom and go sleep on the damn couch - I couldn't do a blessed thing to make him turn or stop the chainsaw....

Oh man! That stinks!!!! I Chat Icon tylenol PM- it's been my best friend lately. It doesn't give you that hung-over feeling that the benadryl does for me.

P.S. I would have made DH get up and go sleep on the couch!!!Chat Icon

I didn't even want to look in his direction..... Seriously - the sounds that were coming out of him were making me think thoughts of murder! The one night that I was gonna get some sleep... All I could think was ***?!!! Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

I win.
I sleep like the dead, which is great. But DH is the lightest sleeper on Earth. He wakes me up CONSTANTLY bc my nose is whistling. He WAKES his pregnant wife.
Jerk.
Meanwhile, guess who snores?

You should get your DH those breathe right strips- I use them, they're awesome.

I tried. Turns out he doesn't like things put on his nose while he's sleeping. Thought someone was trying to off him.

In his defense, he only gets like 6 hours a night, and drives trains. Needs to be "alert" whateva!
