Re: Sleepy Hollow- hotel
Castle hotel in tarrytown is gorgeous & $$$$ (I've eaten here & the restaurant is great, but haven't stayed).
There is a double tree right off the bridge in tarrytown that is very big, and very nice. Also nice restaurant & indoor pool. Better if you are coming for the fall activities with kids.

We've stayed at the Tarrytown House Estates and it was really nice.

I just booked the Marriott Springhill Suites. Looks modern and met our needs with 2 kids. The Westchester Marriott is nice, I've been there before.
Are you going to The Blaze? I just got tickets today, so excited

Yes we did! I was thinking of courtyard marriot tarrytown. Has good reviews on trip advisor. I really just want something super clean with no bed bugs to hang our hats for the night.

Fun!! I almost did that one. The Springhill Suites has free breakfast though, and a larger room, so I went with that. I used points though so cost wasn't really my deciding factor
Ugh, but I just saw a bug in a review on TA, so I think I'll change now!

Is this like the Rise of Jack O'Lanterns? Better?

Yes it is, it was the original. Rise is sort of a copy I guess you could say. I have never been to the Blaze, but it's always gotten amazing reviews

We are spending the night because I can't deal with horrific traffic in the Bronx area two times in one day
We are also doing the Horseman's Hollow thing at 9:30pm (scary so not for younger kids, taking my son) and Irving's Legend earlier in the day.
There IS the LegoLand Discovery center somewhere around there. Not sure what else since we have never been
