Sleepytime "friend"/Lovey/Blankie at bedtime
So my friends apparently think I'm paranoid because I do not give Liam a blankie at bed nor do I put any sleepytime friends or lovies in his crib. He hasn't really became attached to anything either. HE did a little to a bear, and he likes this one lion animal with paws for teething (Baby Einstein toy) but I don't think he cares if it's out of his sight. I hope I didn't do anything bad in not fostering a "sleepytime buddy" or "favorite blankie". He does sleep with his paci though.
I was just always very concerned about SIDS but he's 9 months now. We do have a mobile and a thing on the side of his crib to play with. But he doesn't nap in his crib during the day (long story) and we bring him into bed w/ us when he wakes up for his 1st bottle of the morning. Should I be putting stuff into his crib so he will have something to play with now that he can sit up, etc?
Once he's able to sit up on his own from a laying down position, the mobile is coming down!

Dont listen to what everyone says, Julia didn't use a blanket or pacifier, and I'm so glad because its very hard to ween them later on, my sister is going through a lot trying to ween both of her kids from there blankets and pacifier's and there 2 and 4. At least you will only have one thing to ween him from later on--lol
I'm Julia's blanket, she likes to rub and smell my shirt at night before she goes to sleep--lol
