slight spotting - nervous
I'm 14 weeks and just noticed a red spot on my undies. Size was less than a pinky nail. I wasn't freaking out but when I called the doctor to tell them, thinking they would say "its nothing", they said come in tomorrow. Now I WORRIED! I had planned on going to the gym tonight but now forget it. You hate to sound like such a worry wart to the doctors and DH but as a first time pregger, everything is scary. Here comes a sleepless night.

Re: slight spotting - nervous
I started bleeding at 14 weeks...much more than what you stated.
What the doctor ended up thinking was that during this stage, the baby tends to move from low into the abdomen to higher up-and this movement can cause bleeding..from very mild to much more. Mine was red as well, and all was fine! Its scary and I know how you feel!! BUT if you do not have bad cramping or clots, try to relax a little until you go in. Its a great sign that you aren't cramping terribly.
Good luck and don't worry too much

Re: slight spotting - nervous
you have every right to worry and they need to help ease that worry , its their job!
Hang in there...it could easily be nothing! Stay off your feet till you see the DR.
Many women experience spotting, MANY...and have healthy babies. No need to worry yet!

I don't know if you've read my previous post but the same thing is happening to one of my co-worker's cousin. But she sees brown. It's easy to say not to worry when you are going to worry anyway. But the best thing is always to go to the doctor. My co-worker's cousin did go to the doctor and they did an internal sonogram. He saw no signs of blood and they did see the baby on the screen and the beginning of a heartbeat. She notices the spotting in the mornings more. The other day she noticed a yellowish kind of discharge. She's been in no pain so far, so that's a good sign too.
I will keep you and your little one in my
Try to relax a little though because if you stress out a lot then that won't do you or your baby any good either. to you and keep us posted.

Re: slight spotting - nervous
Make sure you rest and stay off your feet, try not to worry, I heard it is common with some girls and everything turns out normal.
