slipped & fell on ice: UPDATED
last night i slipped and fell on a huge patch of ice in my parents driveway. i landed on my hands & knees, but pretty hard. i had cramping in my stomach for about an hour after, but i felt pretty ok. this morning i was having some pain on the left side of my back and some throbbing "down there" TMI...sorry 
anyway, dh insisted i call the dr (i thought since i didnt fall on my back or stomach i shouldnt be making a big deal of it) and they said i should absolutely go in today. i have a 1:00 - hopefully everything will be ok. do you think you would have called?? i hate thinking that i am making a big deal out of this!
ill give an update later today!!

I'm so glad I called the Dr. and went in. She said to always call when something like that happens bc its better to be safe.
She did a sono and we saw the heartbeat and the baby moving around. What a relief to know that everything was fine!! 
The best part was that since DH couldnt get out of work on such short notice, I asked my parents to go with me and they were so excited to be seeing the baby for the first time! At one point the dr pointed out that the baby looked like it was scratching its head and my dad goes "No, its not scratching its head, its waving to grandpa" 
Anyway, thank you all for your kind words and support. Please stay safe outside!!!!
