I called there to get some info on oil, contracts and alarm.
why is it that they have to meet with me about the oil?
Can't they just give me a price for the freakin oil?
Anybody get quoted below $3.44? I think I'm going to shoot myself.

Trager Oil is going by a varying rate of $2.89 - $3.19. Plus they have the eco-friendly oil that works with your existing system. We just got a delivery on Wednesday and it was $3.19.

If that's what they just quoted you you do not want to know the price we locked in at a month or so ago. Seriously, you would not be happy.
We have a security system with them. They probably want to meet with you to try to sell you on one.

I agree, we just signed up w/ them around Thanksgiving...much lower than the price they gave you...

the price of oil has gone up for sure but $3.44?
Maybe I'll call Trager.
I am interested in the security system too but they still wanted to meet without that.
I have a call into Perillo, Meenan and General.

I thought the same thing when I called them, I was like "Meet with me?"
I did sit with the Salesmen from Slomins, but I ended up going with Romanelli and Sons instead.
$3.44 now?? 
I would def. keep shopping around

I just called them and their variable rate is 2.89 to 3.39 now and right now the price is $3.39. I don't think it will ever go down unless it's the summer.
They do offer a free service contract though for one year.

They gave me a hard time too. I asked what information he would get from my house that I couldn't tell him on the phone and everything he mentioned I answered.
I said I'm making a decision today so I'm not making appointments for anyone. If I'm going to consider your company, you need to tell me the prices over the phone. If not, this call is over because I still need to contact Petro, Romanelli and Meenan.
He gave me the prices.

I got Slomin's early this month, signed a contract for $2.99.
They do come to your house and explain the whole contract deal etc.

my neighbor just went with petro and got it for 3.05 also i gave her my girl's number and she got a 100 dollar credit and so did i. fm if you want the ladies number. took 5 minutes over the phone to lock.

Met with Slomins. We got the oil and the alarm. I feel good about both deals.
In the meantime, Perillo came and filled my oil tank yesterday at a ridiculous rate. Yesterday was when my contract was up and they told me the fill was next week. I'm pizzed to say the least.
I will have to address this on Monday, but that's a crappy thing to do..

I failed to get the alarm when I signed the contract. Your contract included the alarm?? and at what rate did you get the oil? I am going to call and see if am still able to get it being that am a new customer with a contract.

Got a rate of 2.94 with the alarm and $2.99 without.
Alarm was free but the service comes out to be $24.95/mo.
they do have the lowest rate right now on oil either way
