Anyone have a sloppy joe recipe they can share
We have left over chop meat from last nights dinner and I want to use it.
If you want to suggest something else, please feel free!
Thanks!

Re: Sloppy Joe's
Manwich is a can. I use twice the meat. Otherwise i find its a little to "sloppy". I like to servie it on potato rolls topped with shredded cheddar cheese (I also mix some into the meat as its simmering) and sour cream,

Re: Sloppy Joe's
DH loves this one!
Sloppy Joe’s
1 1/3 pounds ground beef or turkey 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil 1/2 red onion, chopped 1/2 red bell pepper, chopped 1 tablespoon grill seasoning blend, such as McCormick brand Montreal Steak Seasoning 2 tablespoons brown sugar 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce 1 cup tomato sauce 4 crusty sandwich rolls, split
Heat a big skillet over medium-high heat for you. Add the EVOO to the pan. Break the beef or turkey up with a big wooden spoon as it starts to cook.
Add the onion and pepper to the cooking meat and stir it together.
Next, mix the following ingredients together in a small bowl: grill seasoning blend, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce and tomato sauce. When all the ingredients are combined, pour the sauce evenly over the meat and stir everything together really well.
Turn the heat down to simmer and cook the sloppy mixture for 10 minutes. Taste for seasoning. Pile onto the rolls and serve!
