Slow cooker pot roast with NO canned soup added?
What does everyone think of this recipe? I have made pot roast in my slow cooker before with a can of cream of mushroom soup. I'm not a fan of the soup and it makes the roast very soup-y. I found this recipe on the web which only calls for 2 tablespoons of worcestershire sauce and it looks good..Has anyone tried slow cooking a pot roast without cream of mushroom soup? TIA

Here's another recipe idea. There's not much to it but it has very good reviews.

You can thicken up the sauce by adding cornstarch mixed with water to the gravy - it makes it a lot less "soupy" I also add a little Gravy Master to make it a little bit more rich.
I also do a roast where you add 1 can of diced tomatoes (I use the ones with Italian spices added) and a few spoons of chopped garlic (to taste). I serve it with orzo - super easy and tastes great!

I make it very similar to this, but instead of beef bouillon, water and celery, I use some garlic powder and red wine. Comes out awesome!
