slow cooker recipes - no pork or beef
Does anyone have any favorite recipes that don't involve pork? I feel like all I ever make in the slow cooker is pork, and i don't eat beef.
TIA

That sounds yummy, what spices/seasoning do you use? I think I could swing something. Slow cooker recipes usually need alot of liquid do you use broth? Thanks!

I do it like this (sorry, I never measure) Saute onions and garlic in Dutch Oven, dredge chicken in flour and salt and pepper (I use thighs, white meat tastes of styrofoam to me) brown the chicken in the dutch oven (take out the onions etc) Deglaze the dutch oven with red wine, add some tomato paste and some chicken stock. Add the Chorizo Sausage (cut up quite small) bring to the boil, chuck into oven for maybe 2 hours...add some veggies if you fancy it, a few sprigs of thyme...Throw in some Butter Beans at the end for them to warm through
I based it on this recipe, but without the beetroot and the oxtail
