Slow rising HCGs?

So my GF is pregnant. Technically she should be 5 weeks 2 days now according to when she BD (shes pretty sure of this she said it was really only that time).

She went for an u/s at 4 weeks 5 days and they saw no sac. Fine. Her HCG was 559 and progesterone was low 7.9.

She was put on suppositiories and retested Saturday. Her HCG only went up to 686 in 46 hours or about 22%. I don't think it looks good. No sac at about 5 weeks (usually they do see one at 4 weeks even in levels under 1000 although 1000 is the cutoff). Shouldn't her HCG be higher at this point too? She's in limbo right now. Any advice? Thanks.

I did not see anything but a thickened endometrrium at 4 weeks 5 days. At my next appt the dr saw a sac and fetal pole and said I was between 5.5 weeks and 6 weeks at that point. My hcg was 857 at 4 weeks I think. Dr was not concerned. She could still be ok!
