small belly 28 weeks??

HI All,
Did anyone feel like they didn’t have a big belly at 28 weeks? I am starting to get really nervous because people keep saying - you are six months???

My dr scheduled a growth sono for 2 weeks. Please let me know if you have a small belly and if the baby was still measuring normal weight.

Dr didnt seem really worried -- but i am!!!!

Yes this is me too!
The Dr even told me that my belly is measuring a bit small- when they do the tape measure thingy.

I had a growth sono last week and the baby is measuring fine- she is on the smaller side of fine- but still fine.

I woudln't worry too much- everyone is different. I have done some reading on this and they say that a lot of things can cause this- if you are tall, have a long torso, have tighter abdominal muscles, etc- your belly will be smaller.

Trust me when I tell you that when I tell people how far along I am they nearly faint.

But the Dr's are ok about it- so I feel better

I am measuring right on the money according my last visit at 27 weeks. I go back next week for my 30 week visit.

BUT, everyone tells me I don't look 7 mths preggo, so go figure. I wouldn't worry to much. Think of it as a good thing.

I am also the same exact way. I had a sono last night and they said the baby is measuring perfectly for 28 weeks. However whenever I tell people I am 7 months, they almost fall over. People keep guessing me for maybe 3 months when they hear I am pregnant. Depending on what I am wearing, people still can not tell that I am pregnant at all - a lot of people at work still do not even know that I am pregnant. If you you never met me, you would never guess/know I was pregnant at all. My doctor is not concerned at all. If your doctor is not concerned than you should not worry at all.
I consider myself very lucky to be honest!!!!

I have smaller babies and do not carry very large. With both pregnancies I didn't pop until close to six months and even at that point I was on the small side. With DD#1 I popped again at about 33-34 weeks. Everyone carries differently, I wouldn't worry about it.

I am 23 weeks and only slightly showing- in some clothing people can hardly tell I am pregnant. They say baby is a fine size- I wasnt "thin" to begin with but still not overweight- I hope to show more soon!

As long as your doctor is not concerned, I wouldn't worry about it. I have been told I am carrying very small this time around and all is well.
