Small Claims Court
Does anyone know anything at all about taking someone to small claims court - without an attorney?

If you notice my other post... this is a very good question. But to answer your question, no.

Re: Small Claims Court
I sat through a bunch of cases because of a car accident. Generally, what I got was that anyone can file a claim, there is a fee to do so, and I think the limit for damages is $5,000.
Basically, both parties get up in front of the judge and tell their side of the story. From what I could tell, the claimants that got the judge to rule in their favor were the ones that were able to present their case with proof of the damages and had good documentation.

Re: Small Claims Court
Thanks everyone. I think this is what I'm going to do. We have really good evidence and can back up everything with documentation. I'm really pumped now. I hope it works out!
