Small rock removal from yard

Does anyone know a place that would remove those little white decorative rocks from my Aunt's yard? The yard is small and she would like to put grass.
Thanks.

you can probably contact any landscaper and they will take them away for free if they need them for another job....maybe!

Or you could put them in buckets and Freecylce them to the curb.

GL!

I don't think landscapers would take them away for free, or at least mine didn't. Chat Icon

I'm finding there is a heck of a lot of "clean fill", "topsoil" and "landscaping rocks" out there. Check out the "Free" board at Craigslist. You'll find a lot of it.

I find if you prepare and market it right, you may have more luck. If you do want to put them in things that are free but readily available like old black nursery pots and put them to the curb - then put something on Craigslist like "Curb Alert! High quality tumbled stones for ponds and garden beds!" you might have more luck.

I gave a lot of my stones to my parents to put on the ground where their roof emptied out so the dirt didn't splash up. I used others for the same purpose near downspouts at my own house. You never know - you might find a use for them! Chat Icon

Re: Small rock removal from yard

We recently got rid of a bunch (maybe 100 or more) of rocks (big ones though).

I called several landscapers and none called me back.

On a lark, I posted "free rocks" on our community's website. I received 5 or 6 emails within 24 hours-people wanting these rocks. They were all gone within a couple days.

I would give it a shot.
